Education journey

Growing with your child, stage by stage.

From first letters to final-year essays, the right tutor makes each stage feel less daunting. Our student tutors bring knowledge, enthusiasm and an example to look up to, helping children grow in skill, confidence and character over time.

FROM EARLY YEARS TO UNIVERSITY

How we help at every stage.

AGES 3–7

Early Years: a love of learning

Playful, patient sessions build early reading, writing and number skills. A warm, enthusiastic tutor helps young children enjoy learning, so curiosity takes root early.

AGES 7–8

8+: first steps into exams

For children sitting 7+ and 8+ assessments, we build strong foundations in English, maths and reasoning, and make first experiences of tests calm and familiar.

AGES 9–11

11+: ready for senior school

Focused preparation for grammar and independent school entry, from English and maths to reasoning and interviews. Children practise with purpose and grow in self-belief.

AGES 11–13

13+: building independence

Support for 13+ entry, pre-tests and scholarship papers across a broad range of subjects. Children learn to organise their own revision and take ownership of their progress.

AGES 14–16

GCSE: depth and direction

Our tutors sat these exams not long ago, so they remember how it feels and share techniques that work. Students build subject mastery, exam technique and resilience.

AGES 16–18

A-Level: thinking like a specialist

Tutors with top grades, now studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level, stretch students beyond the syllabus and bring precision to every answer.

AGES 16–18

University Applications: aiming high

Guidance on UCAS, personal statements, admissions tests and interviews, with a focus on Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group universities.

AGES 18+

Undergraduate: confident, independent learners

At university, support turns to essays, problem sheets and exam preparation, and to becoming a confident, self-directed learner, ready for whatever comes next.
